This stainless steel cat litter box features a basin constructed from stainless steel and a foot-pedal operated lid mechanism. The non-porous surface of the stainless steel basin resists odor absorption. The foot pedal controls lid opening, allowing one-handed operation during cleaning. Raised side walls help contain litter during digging activity. Designed for indoor litter placement.
FAQ and Usage Notes
Q: How to clean the stainless steel basin?
A: Clean with a mild pet-safe detergent or neutral cleaner using a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Water spots may be removed periodically with a soft, dry cloth.
Q: Does the foot pedal mechanism require maintenance?
A: Inspect the pedal connection area periodically. If movement becomes stiff, clear any accumulated litter particles from the mechanism. Avoid directing strong water flow onto mechanical components.
Usage Notes
·Place on a level surface to ensure stable contact with the floor
·Avoid using abrasive pads or hard brushes on the stainless steel surface during cleaning
·If the lid is removed for washing, confirm that latches are fully engaged upon reassembly to maintain smooth operation
